I've recently started 2 new projects, hopefully with an aim to improve my work in at least a couple of the areas of modelling, painting and gaming, I'll leave you with a taster from both. . .

Golden Demon

Unfortunately due to real life getting in the way and also my complete lack of anything resembling skill with my airbrush I have had to change my mind about my planned Golden Demon entries. . . Originally I had said that I would be entering my kill team I had been working on but have decided to shelf this idea so I can do it justice. . . In the mean time I am putting the finishing touches to another model I have been working on for  long time now, if you're interested you can head on over to Olde World Chronicles (formally the New Realms Of Chaos) on Facebook to get a preview. . .

Getting back on track

I've finally managed to get through all the other hold ups I've been having with my modelling, both physical due to work etc and motivational. . . The big factor is that Golden Demon is now looming and having bought my tickets ok'v e got something to aim for, so much so, i intend to complete my little warband and give them their first public outing there. . . To add to the experimental nature of all this, I've just gone and purchased myself a whole load of Citadel Air paints and will be testing these on my models, maybe i will try and review them too, look forward t seeing all the crazy inspirational paint jobs and models at Golden Demon soon. . .

This might come as a bit of a shock but I somehow haven't disappeared off the fave of the Earth. . . Instead I've had my time taken up lately with my competitive gaming side taking over. . . However, thanks to a kill team challenge arranged for the near future, I've started on a new model to add to my unfinished team, here at least is a small preview. . .

A terrain theme is emerging

Sorry I've been away for a while, now I'm back with a vengeance I hope! I wanted to share with you a project I started a while back to create some new scratch built terrain, mainly aimed at 40k use. This is an early look at the biggest thing I've created so far, I've just started to work on painting it with my airbrush, hopefully aiming for something along the lines of my last lot of terrain, I'll be back with more WIP photos in the near future hopefully. . .

Airbrushing in a Blanchesque manner. . .

Now I bet that's something you don't here every day! Following ion form my airbrush announcement a while back, I thought i'd share a little bit of my progress with you all. For me, getting an airbrush isn't about redefining my painting, so much as it is about evolving it, basically the airbrush gives me new options for painting and also allows me to paint some larger pieces much faster, some of which I'd like to share with you now. . .

Looking through the photos, it is obvious I've still got a lot of work to do, but having said that, I quite like the effect on these buildings, although I feel some more work needs to be done. Feel free to comment. . .
