Airbrushing in a Blanchesque manner. . .

Now I bet that's something you don't here every day! Following ion form my airbrush announcement a while back, I thought i'd share a little bit of my progress with you all. For me, getting an airbrush isn't about redefining my painting, so much as it is about evolving it, basically the airbrush gives me new options for painting and also allows me to paint some larger pieces much faster, some of which I'd like to share with you now. . .

Looking through the photos, it is obvious I've still got a lot of work to do, but having said that, I quite like the effect on these buildings, although I feel some more work needs to be done. Feel free to comment. . .

Robots

In the recent quiet period, apart from purchasing the aforementioned airbrush, I've mad some progress on my robot warband, both my lady robot assinatrix and the big guy have seen some further modelling work done to them, also a third mystery robot is underway too. . .

And yes that is rather large gun on his back, sourced with help from the guys over at The New Realms Of Chaos (which is well worth a look by the way, check my blog list). . .

Miniature painting heresy!

I know I've been quiet on here for a little while and it is partly because of my unashamed startling revelation of miniature painting heresy of sorts. . . You see I recently have bought myself an airbrush!  This may come as some surprise to those who know me and know my style of painting, you needn't worry though I have no intention of abandoning my roots though. I'm moreover looking to add something new and exciting to my painting so keep an eye out for that, also I hope to increase my productivity, so I can finally show off some of my other projects that have been waiting in the wings for a while, I look forward to coming back to show off some of these wonders ;) . . . Also, I hope to produce some more conventional 2d art as a result so will show off anything worthy, you heard it here first. . .
